"I absolutely love your oil, the best mom/baby oil every made."

Dear Amalie, what is the one piece of advice you would give other moms (to-be)?

Everything has changed since Bobbie arrived, life as I knew it forever changed. I am forever changed and that’s okay. Do it your way, and always trust your gut. Life with two kids is more vulnerable and love is bigger than ever before.

To be there for my babies, husband, family and friends I need to prioritize myself first.

Whats your ultimate self-care tip?

Life with two small kids taught me to love the micro moments in life. Self-care for me can be 5 minutes of meditation and breath work, a hot cup of tea, a walk with a sleeping baby surrounded by nature or a date night with my husband. For me self care is something that gives me a break, and grounds me. Something that makes me present.

Tip from Amalie

Breath work is something I prioritize everyday. I use the micro moments throughout the day – typically 5 minutes. It helps me to ground me and gives me perspective, especially with lack of sleep and when feeling overwhelmed. As a parent I want to be the best and most authentic version of myself for my kids. Breath works helps me regulate my nervous system and keeps me calm. I do it for me and those around me.
