Calming Body Oil - Mother

We selected these oils based on their specific properties for babies, mothers, and mothers-to-be. These ingredients nourish and soothe the skin during pregnancy and the postpartum period.

Specially created for all mothers to use during pregnancy, postpartum and long after. All ingredients are of high quality, very gentle and safe to use at any stage of life. Our most beloved body oil helps to prevent stretch marks, nourish and soothe the skin intensely and is made of high quality natural and organic oils. The mother body oil for (200 ml) for you, the baby body oil for your little (100 ml).

Packaging
The packaging is made of 100% recycled plastic. The boxes are made from agricultural waste (leaves and stems left behind after harvest). It replaces the amount of fibres from trees. When rice, wheat, barley, cereals, corn, hemp, and sugar cane are processed, 80% of the plant – its stems and leaves (agricultural waste) – is left unused. Currently, most of this is burned. Paperwise environmental impact is 47% lower than paper made from trees and 29% lower than recycled paper.

Our special Kenkô fragrances are made by us in the Netherlands. We work strictly with 100% natural oils of traceable origin.

We used two closely related scents with a distinct olfactory connection. We used one scent in our baby products and another in our products for mothers and mothers-to-be. When used together, both fragrances tell a story about the intimate and tender connection between mother and child; about the gentleness, the warmth, and the joy that the arrival of a new baby brings and the special rituals and routines a mother develops with her child. The fragranced oils are subtle and harmonious and designed to support the tender bond between mother and child.

The fragrance notes were selected for the emotions, associations, and moods they evoke, as well as their effect on the body and mind. For example, vanilla bourbon was chosen for the feeling of security, warmth, and cosiness it evokes. Natural sandalwood was chosen for its warm, enveloping scent, its relaxing and nourishing properties, and its important role in spiritual traditions. Both perfumed oils are warm, soft, and relaxing. For mothers, the scent helps to both relax and energize.

Place a few drops in the palm of your hand and gently massage oil into your skin. Suitable for body (including breasts).

The fragrance is not derived from a traditional perfume, but from a carefully curated selection of oils. The scents are from the highest quality and made by us in the Netherlands from the very best natural and organic oils. The scented oil for babies is hypoallergenic.

Incorporating a fragrance was a deliberate choice, as we feel it contributes to the overall experience. Our products contain very low doses to prevent any skin reactions.
